A little event my buddies and i are helping promote. Quick story, Peter and friends weren’t planning on coming to Chicago during their pub tour, my good friend Nate got in contact with them, and before we knew it, they decided to make a stop in Chicago. Peter’s content is next level, thought provoking, and to most, will make you feel uncomfortable. I met him at poets prophets and preachers and found the guy cares. He really does. 

He isnt in it for himself, or his head, he has an interest in people, god, and how it all connects, or at least the process of it all.

April 8th marks a day in history to be remembered.

Yesterday an extremely good friend of mine (practically a brother) called and told me he wants to fly me out to this event in chicago. Last year we went and were part of a live shoot for ppp in which i met peter rollins. This Irish weirdo made an impression on both nate and i. Nate is the kinda guy that likes to get things done. He saw that Peter was touring the states and without thinking twice called me and asked if I can help organize this event. 2 days later he calls and tells me Peter is coming to chicago. Without thinking twice he books my plane ticket and tells me he would not want any other person to be part of this event other than me. How do i respond to that?

I immediately tell him that im in. Now what?

So we have this crazy irish dude who people either hate or love coming to chicago and we have to find a bar for him to talk in. To some he is heretical, to others he’s orthodox, I guess its the perfect mix?

With that said, who’s in? Who wants to be part of history? Who has access to a pub in chicago where he can do his thing?

I promise you will be blown away. If you are a person of faith, your faith will be shaken. If you are skeptical, you will have faith. If you don’t care….well at least you will be at a bar.

April 8th, Thursday. Come. Come. Come.

Bring your friends, bring yourself, bring your mom. Be part of history, and be ready to get EXTREMELY uncomfortable.
